About UsIt began with a dream. A question of "What if we could do this?" So, we began to learn, we began to put our heads together, we got together with friends of similar passions, and United Partners in Pflugerville was born.
United Partners in Pflugerville is a God centered organization that seeks to empower the abilities of all and build community. UP-Pf is a place and a people. It is an organization and a community. |
Who We Are |
United Partners in Pflugerville is a community where all abilities will be empowered and valued. Each and every person that is a part of UP-Pf will know that they have a purpose and that they will be celebrated. We create, we work, we produce, we love - all centered in the God who fearfully and wonderfully made each of us.

Our HistoryOur VisionOur Purpose |
When Debbie Wiederhold's son Daniel graduated from high school, she quickly realized that he needed a place to continue learning, growing, and developing schools. That's how United Partners Pflugerville was born.
In June 2015, Debbie offered the "What if...?" question, gathering a group of like-minded folks with a passion to serve our community. From there, we plotted and planned, brainstormed and had conversation. By 2016, we were in the application process to become a non-profit 501(c)3. By early 2017, we launched our first day of UP-Pf! At its outset, Debbie imagined UP-PF as a community for people of all abilities, where adults with disabilities can learn crafts and artistic activities of all kinds, creating paintings, wreaths, bead art, ornaments, jewelry, and so much more. The crafts that are created by are Partners are then sold in our store, which helps fund our programs and our mission, while also giving our Partners a community to call home. Since its founding, our program has grown to include nearly 20 partners who work across dozens of different artistic mediums. To build a vocational community where adults with disabilities will continue to learn, work and live; being celebrated and empowered in a God-centered environment as they engage in meaningful work and service.
Embracing the power of purpose in the lives of adults with disabilities while creating meaningful opportunities and a sense of belonging.
